Pilates

For the last 15 years Pilates has been a great companion for me. It has been the solution for my lower back pain. It’s the foundation for every kind of movement you’re doing.
By building core strength and focusing on controlled performance makes Pilates adaptable to many levels and needs.
Proper alignment and the connection of the breath with the movement is essential.
It’s a great way to improve your posture and increase your energy.

“It’s the complete coordination of body, mind and spirit. ” – Joseph Pilates

Core

The core builds the frame of the body. Core muscles are the deep muscles of the pelvic floor, abdomen and back.  By strengthening these muscles, you can improve your posture and prevent injuries.

Posture

A good posture is the reflection of a strong core and good alignment. It prevents pain and injuries and gives you a beautiful appearance.

Body/Mind Connection

The connection between Body and Mind is essential in our practice.
Each movement of Pilates is practiced with total attention. In this way the body and mind are able to connect and get the best possible result of every posture.

Concentration, control, breath and flow incorporates the body and mind.

Flexibility

Pilates will improve your flexibility in a great way. It stretches and tones your muscles and improves your range of motion.
Trough stretching you release tension and thereby relieve stress.
